What everyone wants to know:
How much does it cost?
I charge 100 Euro for an hour long consultation which includes a short written report.
If we decide (together) you would benefit from drawings etc (which is usual for garden designs)
then that will cost more depending on the amount of work involved.
Do you provide full architectural services?
I don't, and if the options I provide you with require full architectural services such as planning permission etc. I have a list of colleagues who do provide such services.
Do you undertake garden design implementation?
I don't, usually what I will propose can be carried out by yourself.
How long will it take?
Obviously that depends on how much work is required but you should have it all back
within two weeks.
What can I expect from a visit?
This really depends on the problem you need solved but usually it's a walk through the house
or garden, a discussion on what it is you want or have the problem with then a run through of
possible solutions and ideas. Sometimes it involves moving and rearranging furniture, or advice on whether or not to extend. I always try to encourage you to take the lead, after all it is your home.
What areas do you work in?
I cover the whole Dublin area but I have also done remote work with the use of photographs
and drawings.
