Cosying Up a Back Garden

Problem
A large family garden with grey concrete block walls, an expanse of lawn (used for football)
and a garden shed required some input from Insideout.

Solution
The impact of the block walls is softened by attaching trellis to one side and planting
climbers through it. The opposite side is screened using bamboo and dogwood intemittently.
An informal meadow type garden at the bottom near the playhouse retaining the
lawn as a football pitch adds interest and colour. A planted screen near the house
reduces the impact of the shed and improves the view from inside out.

Result
Colour, texture, depth and interest make the garden a richer space to spend time
(and play football!) in.
