Design Advice

Problem
A growing family in a much loved wonderfully extended period house in need of extra space.

Solution
The underused front room was integrated into the rest of the house by reducing it's formality
and making it feel more like the rest of the house. Upstairs with a small amount of rejigging
by moving a door and updating the ensuite and developing some furniture enabled a small bedroom
to be adapted to accommodate 2 children.

Result
With a relatively small amount of building work and and some additional furniture the family gained more space by simply adapting and using what they had.
